Music I listen to

Rap, Dance, Pop, R&B, Rock, Concert Band, Marching Band, Blues, Classical, Country, Jazz (real jazz, not this "smooth jazz" crap on the radio). Of course, when it comes to TALK radio, you'll hear me listening to Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Phil Hendrie, George Noory (and on the weekends, "The Master" of overnight talk, Art Bell), Alan Colmes, the occasional tune-in to Kim Komando... and, of course, every Friday night, The Radio Racket!

Interesting facts about me

I'm a radio DJ currently between stations. I also am highly ADD. That's good to keep in mind. I led the league in 3-pointers during the year that I fantasized I was in the NBA, and my jersey (Miami Heat #15) shot up to an all-time NBA memorabilia sales high of $437.95. I currently have several books in the works, including "We Can See Raccoons and 2,297 Other Reasons You Shouldn't Try To Figure Out What Your Station's Call Letters Stand For," "Liberals and Other Flukes of Evolution," and an updated version of my New York Times #1 Best-Seller "Why Buffy and Angel Fansites Make Baby Jesus Cry." I am also notorious for having way too much free time on my hands for anyone's good.

My first station was a 100kW powerhouse in a top 15 market.
I believe basketball to be the greatest sport ever invented.
I often refer to Michigan as "Baja Ontario"... or, in some cases, "The B.O."
Throughout my life, I've been progressively moving north. In ten years time I expect to be in Russia. Not that I want to be, that just seems to be the trend.
My favorite sitcom is NewsRadio.
My favorite TV show of all time is Saturday Night Live.
If Lorne Michaels handed me his job at SNL, I wouldn't hesitate for a second in taking it.
I have seen every single James Bond film at least twice, and if it weren't for George Lazenby's atrocious performance, On Her Majesty's Secret Service would be the best.
I've owned the same clock radio since 1987. I've broken it and fixed it myself twice.
I value my friends as part of my family, and I value my friends and family above all else.
If I could get my voice to go just a little bit deeper, I still wouldn't sound anything like any famous V/O talent. I've made peace with that.
I don't know if any of my friends at NC State were involved in the 2004 pranking of News 14 Carolina's blizzard closing ticker, but if they were, that's pretty darn cool.
I despise the school system of Guilford County, North Carolina.

Even though I don't currently have my own show, I carry around a notepad and a pen to do show prep at all times.
The temperature today seems to be falling rather quickly. It was 81 at 7:00 this morning, and now at nearly 2:00 it's 70. Michigan weather is crazy.

No joke: I have had a bat in my house four times, once in one house and thrice in another. It's like I'm cursed or something.
I do, in fact, know people who listen to Radio Disney on AM. The sad thing is, they're all my age.
I once almost applied to work at a local Radio Disney affilitate that wanted to do local kids programming. Two months later the company that owned the station folded and sold to SBS. Dodged a bullet there!

All scenes involving people at a castle in Monty Python and the Holy Grail were filmed at the same castle. Establishing shots were either photos or video taken of other castles, but different angles and locations at the same castle were used for all principle filming.
